PAUL MOED Paul Moed, 45 years of age, passed away unexpectedly on March 13, 2016 at his home in Rockyford, Alberta. Paul is survived by his spouse Michelle McCracken; parents Fred and Julia Moed; brothers: Harry (Susan) Moed, David (Janis) Moed; cousin John (Rose) Kirouac; sisters in law: Mary (Ed) Nohorchka, Susan (Daniel) Tremblay, Kathie (Brad) Wigton, Rosealie McCracken, brother-in-law Cecil McCracken, as well as by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Paul was predeceased by his brother Frank, and grandparents Winnifred and John Moed. Paul was born in Winnipeg, MB on October 30, 1970, the youngest of four and was extremely close to his family. Paul came to Calgary in February 1994, Harry introduced Paul to Thermo King, it was a perfect fit for 22 years. Paul had an incredible work ethic and loved his profession. Paul found his soul mate Michelle. A co-worker introduced Paul to Michelle and the two became inseparable. They moved onto to an acreage in Rockyford. Paul loved the outdoors camping, spending time with family and travelling with his soul mate Michelle. Paul will be sadly missed by Michelle, family, co-workers, fur babies Daisy and Bernie, and all who knew him. Paul had an energy and carefree loving nature that had all who met him become extended family and life long friends. Paul will always be missed by "The Band of the Brothers". Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2016 in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home, 1605 100 Street SE, Calgary, AB.
