Phyllis was predeceased by her first husband Ron in 1984. Phyllis was born in Kinistino, SK to Pauline and Jack Chapman and resided in Meskanaw, SK. She finished high school in Saskatoon and went on to complete her nursing at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon. Phyllis met Ron in high school and they were married in Saskatoon and went on to have their three children. Following Ron's passing in 1984 Phyllis met John McIntyre in 1985 and they were married in 1991. Phyllis loved her flowers and making arrangements was always enjoyable. She was an avid curler, golfer and volunteering was very important to her. Making floral arrangements for hospital fund raisers was something that she loved to do to help give back to her community. Phyllis had a zest for life and loved and cherished her children and grandchildren. She also had a very positive impact on her stepchildren and step-grandchildren. A very special thank you to all of the staff for the amazing care they provided Phyllis. The family is grateful for all of the little things they did that made Phyllis's time there comfortable. • Phyllis was my dearest friend for so many years. I will miss her very much but will also remember her as a 'golden friend' with whom I shared so many happy times. I will be thinking of you John, and Craig, Brenda, Scott, and all your families tomorrow and in the days to come. With love, Joanne - Posted by: Joanne Scarth (Best Friend) on: Mar 28, 2016

  • We knew Phyllis as a very gracious and generous lady. Phyllis was a very special person; always making sure she put in 100 percent or more in whatever she did. We will always remember her friendly smile. SHE WAS VERY WELL RESPECTED. - Posted by: Dwight and Retha Cochrane (Tammie McIntyre's Parents ) on: Mar 26, 2016
