  • My heart goes out to all of the family. Our families grew up on good ole Magnus and spent a lot of time together in the good ole days way back when. I will always remember that friendly smile of his. I ran into him quite a few yrs back on broadway by the union building. He gave me a big hug and we shared a few stories about the good ole days! A real nice down to earth guy. xo Susie I would love to reconnect with you! - Posted by: Mary McIntosh-Theberge (family friend) on: Apr 03, 2016

  • We were deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Jim's passing. Extending heartfelt sympathy to Bev, Jeffrey, Jacqueline and the Henderson family. We grew up together on Magnus Ave - from riding our bikes until dark, to attending community dances and eventually as my brother's best man at his wedding. Although we lost touch over the years, always fond memories of our Jimmy! Now deeply missed Lynda Ruban and Ollie Carlson - Posted by: Lynda Ruban (friend) on: Mar 30, 2016

  • Jimmy and I tramped many of the same ashes and shared more than a few dinners and stories. He was a good firefighter and a good person. He did a lot for the citizens of this city and for its firefighters with his dedication and long years of service to the IAFF. I was truly saddened at the news of his much too early death. We are all diminished at the loss of this honorable man. - Posted by: Scott Miner (Collegue ) on: Mar 27, 2016

  • Condolences to Bev and family. I have many memories of us terrorizing Magnus ave as kids, then cruising in the old Chevy station wagon Jim had. Then both of us becoming firefighters and Jim becoming my Captain at 25, he was always there for the guys. Jim will always be rembered as a good guy who left us too early. Much love to you and your family. - Posted by: Krista Tellier () on: Mar 26, 2016
