Sandra: I have been away and just returned home. You were the first "older woman" to offer to teach me to dance.. . and Ross? Ross was cool. Like, I mean, really cool. In the fifties, those of us who were uncool envied those who were but Ross was so damn nice to all of us at Young that I admired his poise and sincerity. May Ross rest now and I hope you, Sandra, know that both of you have had a positive and lasting impact upon others beginning many, many years ago. - Posted by: Wayne Barr (Aquaintance) on: Jul 09, 2016

Our sympathy to Sandra, and extended family on Ross' untimely passing. Little did we know when we became Ross & Sandra's neighbors 15 years ago of how our lives were about to become enriched living next to such wonderful and truly caring friends. We too feel as though we have lost a member of our family. - Posted by: Bob & Helen Patrick (Friends & Neighbors) on: Mar 30, 2016

Ross was a neighbor and friend for as long as I can remember .Really going to miss our curbside chats and updates on the street. Ross was very helpful with his insights in to the environmental field to which a career I was quite new in. I am really going to miss him and my condolences to Sandra and the family. - Posted by: John Hogg (Friend) on: Mar 30, 2016

We knew Ross a way back in The Fifties in the West End ! He was always a very sincere person ,serious about everything he undertook to do, probably a lot more mature than some of us ! Then we saw him through Engineering at the U. of Man., Young Church, marrying Sandra, working for the Prov. Govt.,building their cottage at Storm Bay and years of hauling building materials on week-ends in that old station wagon ! Then lately, hauling stuff from our church to Young for rummage sales etc.,still helping others. Throughout it all, always a steady, good, good guy ! Rest in peace, Ross ! - Posted by: Gord Grist (Long time friend !) on: Mar 29, 2016
