Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLARRY FRANK KUPCHIK Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at the Selkirk General Hospital, Larry Kupchik, aged 76 years, of Selkirk, MB, passed away, on April 1, 2016. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Patty Leonard; children Brenda (Gerry) Malenfant, Kevin, and David (Esther Paradoski); step-children Jackie (Marvin) Goldbloom and Rob (Ruby); grandchildren Kristin, Jesse, Stephanie, Nick, Ryan, Jared, Robyn, Jeremy and Jade; sister Joyce (Bert) Chymyshyn; nieces Donna and Dianna and nephew Jason. Larry was predeceased by his parents Frank and Marie Kupchik and loving daughter-in-law Donna. Larry worked for the Toronto Dominion Bank, Imperial Oil and was a lineman with Comstock. He had his own minnow business and spent 17 years as a salesman for Lockport Appliances. His passions were camping, boating and fishing at Pointe Du Bois. He enjoyed playing darts and loved being challenged at pool. Larry enjoyed many trips to Phoenix and he loved his most recent trip to Cuba but most of all he adored his children and grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr. Habtu Demsas of Selkirk, Dr. Wong and Dr. Singh of Health Sciences Hepatology, Dr. Chowdry of the Cancer Clinic, palliative care nurses Melanie and Angelina, Dr. Lindenschmidt and Dr. Kolra, nurse Leigha and all the other wonderful nurses who made Larry's last few days comfortable. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Canadian Liver Foundation or CancerCare Manitoba. In accordance with Larry's wishes a private family memorial will take place at a later date.
