Doris Louella McVarish (nee Danielson) December 8, 1926 - March 17, 2016 With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Mom and "Nana". She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Gil; father Axel; mother Johanna; and sisters, Blanche, Lorna and Myrtle. She is survived by her daughters, Chris and Tracy; and grandchildren, Cole, Chad, Caylin, Brady and Baily. She also leaves behind her sister Carmen. Mom loved being a homemaker and her home was her castle. Everyone loved her home cooked meals and delicious pies. She was fun loving and enjoyed playing cards, doing puzzles and crosswords, playing word games and going to bingo. Her family was everything to her. She especially loved spending time with her girls. We have many happy memories of all the fun we had at Grand Beach. Mom and dad also went on many enjoyable vacations over the years. Her last days were spent in the home she and dad loved and now they will be at peace together. As per her wishes, there will be no service and cremation has taken place. We will miss you and keep you in our hearts forever!
