WALTER SCHROEDER Walter Schroeder, aged 59, of Sanford, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Victoria General Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Grace; daughter Erin; mother-in-law Eileen Martel; brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Walter was predeceased by parents Peter and Henrietta Schroeder; father-in-law Helmut Martel; and brother Wayne. In 1996 Walter and Grace purchased A-Post Aluminum which they operated until their retirement in 2013. Walter took immense pride in his work, whether it was a ladder hidden away inside a building or a railing on a prominent bridge. Nothing gave him more pleasure than to drive around the city or province and see his work. Cremation and a private family service to take place with burial at a later date in his hometown of Rosenfeld. I am very sorry to hear this news Walter was a great guy, entertaining customer and I'm sorry he didn't get the healthy, happy, & long retirement he deserved.
