Wojcik's Funeral Chapels & Crematorium, Winnipeg, 2157 Portage Avenue, 204.897.4665 www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com A light from our lives is gone, A voice we all loved is stilled, A place is vacant in our hearts Which never can be filled. God gave us a beautiful husband, friend and father, and now we see his empty chair We'll feel his presence there. The memories of his laughter, His warm and loving smile, His eyes so full of happiness, His heart that of a child. Memories are forever Be they laughter or of tears, Memories we will treasure forever For the rest of our years. Good Bye, until we meet again.

I met Stan over 40 years ago while driving for Duffy's Taxi. Years later, we would meet weekly with his boys and other drivers at Seven Seas Chinese take-out on Main for scrumptious meals in the back kitchen. Great memories. Stan was one of the finest owner operators ever in the taxi industry. He loved people, life and his job. His zest for life was contagious. I am now a retired school teacher and I love to reminisce about some of the wonderful individuals I was privileged to have met on my journey. Stan was a true gentleman and will be missed by all who crossed his path. My condolences to Don, Stanley and the rest of the Combe family. - Posted by: Gil Perrin (Friend) on: May 17, 2016

Stan will forever hold a place in my heart, he was a loving and understanding man who welcomed so many of us into his life, and touched us with his gentle fatherly manner. One of the happiest men I know, with kind smiling eyes and a charismatic grin, with either a wise word or gentlemen humor, to share. My love to you, Maureen, Deborah, Tracey and your families, Stan loved you all as dearly as you loved him. Rest in Peace Stan ("Pa Combe") - Posted by: Linda Hudrick (Friend) on: Apr 15, 2016
