  • I was shocked and saddened to hear of Rob's passing and my thoughts and prayers are with his family. My son Mike started school with Rob in Winnipeg and our two families were intertwined at school, church and the community club where the boys played hockey. The friendships formed there continued for many years, both with the parents and the boys, and we have very many happy memories of those years. I hope that those happy days will give comfort to the family in the coming months. - Posted by: DIANE WALTON - KELOWNA BC ('OLD' FAMILY FRIEND) on: Apr 13, 2016

  • Dear Denise and Ryan, I just heard about Rob's passing and as I am away at the National Math Conference, I will not be able to celebrate Rob's life with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as I contemplate the sadness of loosing him. I have so many fond memories of his contributions to my life. I will always remember him in his top hat and tuxedo performing math magic at WestCAST. Also I will always think of him at Clear lake, a special place for you two. You know I will always be here for you and won't ever watch a hockey game without thoughts of a number one fan popping into my head. HUGSand LOVE coming your way. - Posted by: Sandy Margetts (Friend and Professor) on: Apr 13, 2016
