I had the honour of knowing Scott "Aka Lips" as a colleague and a friend. Over the past 11 years between KF & Cargo Jet we had some great conversations, stories, jokes and so many good laughs I will never forget. Scott will be greatly miss by all who knew him flying across the country at night. He will always be remembered for his good nature, being a great pilot, having an amazing sense of humour and a cheerful laugh. My sincerest condolences go out to his two daughters who I know he loved so very much! Late nights in Winnipeg won't be the same anymore my friend, to soon, way too soon. - Posted by: Richard Munro (Colleague & Friend) on: Apr 19, 2016

I first met Scott during our initial training at Cargojet, having to spend two months with him in Atlanta. From that I learned his kindness and positive outlook, even when things did not always work in his favour. A good sense of humour and took joking in great stride. Like others he will be sadly missed as a coworker and as friend. Although a short time knowing him, I am glad I had the opportunity to have. - Posted by: Barry Cason (Coworker) on: Apr 16, 2016

I was saddened to hear of Scott's passing. I worked with Scott at Cargojet. Most of our interactions were via email. I had spoken to him a few weeks ago for the first time and found out was just as nice to speak to. A few days later he sent me thank you note for assisting him. I forwarded his email to Air Canada as he praised their flight crew during his flight. His kind words were appreciated by all. Thinking of the Patterson family during this difficult time. - Posted by: Donna Bryson (Colleague ) on: Apr 15, 2016
