ANNE MENZIES October 11, 1914 - April 11, 2016 It is with profound sadness that the family of Anne Menzies announces her passing on April 11, 2016, surrounded by loved ones. She was predeceased by her parents Vaselena and Stephen Kolba, her first husband Joe Smith; second husband Bill Menzies; son Richard Smith; and seven brothers and sisters. Left to forever remember her are her daughter Jo-Ann; Bill's daughter Heather; and numerous nieces and nephews. Anne was born in Winnipeg and grew up in a large and loving family. She was known for her outgoing nature and love of life. She worked for the Canadian Wheat Board until her retirement in 1975. After her retirement and marriage to Bill, they enjoyed traveling extensively to Britain and Europe, the Caribbean, and Las Vegas. Anne was especially proud of her nieces and nephews and was always delighted to go to family reunions. We would like to say a special thank you to the caring staff of Misericordia Place Personal Care Home for looking after Anne so well during the last three years.
