CLIFFORD WILLIAM PETRISHIN April 19, 1945 - April 7, 2016 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our loving husband and father. Cliff left behind his wife of 50 years, Carol; sons, Craig (Penny) and Christopher, of Winnipeg; sister Evelyn, loving relatives, nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was born and raised in Winnipeg and moved to Chilliwack in 1988. Cliff will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, golfing, cruising and going to hockey games with his pals. He loved all animals, especially his little girl, Rosie. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 22, 2016, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Halcyon Meadows Clubhouse, 46000 Thomas Rd., Chilliwack. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the BCSPCA or the charity of your choice.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I have not seen Cliff since my early twenties. We met at work. Reimer Express Lines, Winnipeg. Cliff was very smart, opinionated, passionate, and very, very funny. He made me laugh a lot. Sometimes, Cliff, Doug MacKenzie, and I, would get together at one of Winnipeg's local hotels to drink beer and to listen to a live band. After a few drinks, no matter what one of the three of us would say, the other two of us would laugh uproariously. (The music was so loud we couldn't hear one another.)Sometimes, on a Saturday, Cliff, Doug, and I would head out to the countryside, each of us with 500 rounds of 22 caliber bullets. It was so funny. They were gone in a flash, leaving behind many shot up cans and bottles. Great memories! - Posted by: Thom Roman (Friend) on: May 21, 2016
