FRANK ANDERSON February 17, 1927 - April 21, 2016 A longtime resident of Grande Prairie, Frank passed away on Thursday, April 21 at the age of 89 years. Born in Morse Place, Manitoba, Frank took his schooling there and went to work for the Canadian National Railway in 1944 where he worked for 38 years. Frank then retired and started working at Grande Prairie Airport for Transport Canada. He enjoyed music, reading and keeping bees. Frank was a committed father, loving husband, proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of the Elks and an active church volunteer. Frank is survived by his wife of 64 years, Winnifred; daughters Frances (Ervin) Schultz and Alice (Greg) Arthur; sons Allen (Ruebens) Anderson, Paul (Martha) Anderson, Eric (Joan) Anderson and Marc (Nieves) Anderson; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, one brother-in-law, one sister-in-law and several cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Amelia Anderson, and sisters Dill, Dawn, Edith and Mildred. A Funeral Service for Frank will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church Anglican, 6610 Poplar Drive, Grande Prairie, Alberta.
