Gerri; Bev and I send our condolences on your loss to you and the family. I am sorry I did not see the obituary and only heard of the service this pm. There was no doubt Dave was a car guy and BMO could have not had a better guy doing what he loved. May the good times be remembered. Keep well and again our condolences. Dave was such an amazing person, always a smile on his face and a bounce in his step. It was always a pleasure to have him in the dealership, 10% work and 90% fun and jokes. You could always count on that with Dave. He was a kind spirit and I'm truly gonna miss him. My best wishes go to his family during this hard time. I had the privilege of working with Dave for the last 4 years and always enjoyed our time together and conversations. He was easily the wittiest person on my team and always had a 'smart' comment to lighten the mood. A true car guy-Dave spent his entire career at BMO in Auto finance because he loved the industry and the people in it. The entire team misses you Dave and it just doesn't feel right without you on our calls. We cherish the great memories we do have, never to be forgotten. Thanks for the great years and RIP my friend. - Posted by: Jim Ruff (BMO colleague/boss) on: Apr 26, 2016

David, we are very sorry to hear the sad news. We will all remember you as e very hospital and wonderful person. We had so many good times together in Winnipeg, with the rest of the Desjardine - family. You enjoyed being the host. A couple of years ago you and Geri came for a visit to our place in Holland. Lynn and i loved having you for those days. And last year will be in our memories forever when you had the De Gouw - family over in your house. We played in the pool, had a beer and some good laughs. That is how we wille remember you, with a big smile! - Posted by: Paul de Gouw (brother in law) on: Apr 24, 2016
