MILTON KELM It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Milton Kelm on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Grace Hospital. Milton was born in the Brooklands area of Winnipeg on December 3, 1931. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Irma (nee Bergstresser), one sister Edna Luschynski of Mission, BC, one brother Walter Kelm (Joey) of Stittsville, ON, a sister-in-law Winnie Kelm of Regina, SK, five nephews and three nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Martha Kelm, and one brother, Harold. Milton was fond of the outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting for big game and has many trophies to show for his success. Another passion was airplanes. Over the years he owned a number of them. He obtained his commercial pilot's license and enjoyed flying north on fishing trips. Milton was an entrepreneur and was involved in many enterprises. At the time of his passing he was the owner and manager of K & K Mfg. Inc. Milton was a man of faith and was a devoted member of Whyte Ridge Baptist Church since its inception. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • This is a sad loss. He will be missed. Even as a child I always enjoyed his sense of humour and pleasant demeanor and that never changed. I even remember attending his wedding as a child. Although I was young at the time, I still remember how gracious they were to me. Throughout my life, I looked forward to his visits to the west coast. It was a given that we would enjoy some fun banter about the weather differences between Winnipeg and Vancouver. In fact I'm smiling about it now even as I type this.
