EDITH NELSON 1927 - 2016 Edith passed away at the Victoria Hospital March 12, 2016 at the age of 88. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her children, Karl and Lori (Kevin). Our pets whom she called her grandchildren, one dog, three cats and a rabbit with photos of her own cats from days past were posted on her fridge. She will be fondly remembered by her relatives and friends especially best friend Ann. Edith was a strong willed woman who loved animals, playing bingo and crosswords. She enjoyed going out for a good meal, all kinds of eclectic food but no chillies! and to be washed down with a large bubble tea was best. The family wish to thank Dr. W Heidenreich, S. Younger Pharmacy, St. Vital home care nursing especially Tyler, the Victoria Hospital Emergency and the fourth floor for their care and compassion. In keeping with Edith's wishes cremation has taken place and in her memory donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Humane Society would be appropriate. Edith you were and will remain always in our memory as being truly UNBELIEVABLE Funeral Director Neil Bardal for posting tributes.

I was thinking of you today. was going to send you flowers for your birthday. Us Virgos have to stick together you know. I was going to write on the card that I was sorry I didn't contact you.
