EDWARD RAYMOND ALBERT VADEBONCOEUR November 8, 1924 - March 25, 2016 It's with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Raymond Vadeboncoeur on Good Friday, March 25, 2016 at Deer Lodge Centre. Ray is survived by his children; Rodney, Roy, Richard, Girard (Nancy), Daniel and Carey (John), five grandchildren, Nicole, Mark, Jaclyn, Sarah and Kate and his best pal his dog "BLAZE". He was predeceased by his wife Margaret (2005), and his three brothers and sister. Dad was a Second World War veteran and we are blessed every day for our freedom for the sacrifice he and other veterans have made and continue to make. The family would like to thank Fely who was by his side for the last year and a half; they would also like to thank the staff at Tower Seven at Deer Lodge Centre for all the great care, patience and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Raymond's name to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or Deer Lodge Centre Foundation. As we quote our dad ... "Yes Yes Yes, of course"... he would say as he shared his pearls of wisdom. A memorial service will take place at Bardal Funeral Home on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., with a reception to follow. • Thinking of you all in the loss of such a special man. - Posted by: Charlotte & Andy Hlady () on: Apr 29, 2016

  • Russ and Ray are now together working on construction projects in heaven. I heard so many funny hunting stories over the years involving my dad and Ray. They bought a bombardier snow machine together and hunted deer and moose for many years. I remember Ray to be a fair and honorable man with a wonderful sense of humor. - Posted by: Dale Johnston (My dad's (Russ Johnston) best buddy.) on: Apr 23, 2016
