MARIEANNE ROSE DYER Our beloved (Minn), (Shorty), wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, quilter passed away April 19, 2016. She was 72 years young. She is predeceased by her loving husband Danny; her parents David and Katrina; brothers, Len and Al and sister Elsie. She is survived by her daughters, Sandi (Warren), Tammy (Mike), Angela (Kelvin) and son Todd (Trina) and faithful companion Cheeky; grandsons, Chad, (Evie), Josh, Zack, Riley, Cody, Travis, Lucas (Dakota) will all miss her greatly. She also leaves her sister Betty (Ed); brother-in-law Gordie as well as many nieces and nephews. Thank you to all caretakers and medical staff who helped Marieanne and the family. A special thank you to Dr. McCloskey, Dr. Taylor and their team and nurse Jann on the 4th floor at KGH. To her quilting family, She who has the largest stash wins I Won. To Audrey and Darlene ( our sisters ) a heartfelt thank you for your loving support of our Mom. A very special thank you to Todd and Trina. Your endless strength and loving devotion was unwavering. Celebration of life will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sindi Hawkins Cancer Centre, 399 Royal Ave., Kelowna, BC V1Y 5L3 would be greatly appreciated.
