JANET (BURNEICE) SCHRAM A Celebration of Life of Janet Burneice Schram (nee McTaggart) will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Rock Lake Pastoral Charge United Church in Crystal City, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m. Burneice leaves to mourn her passing, sister Merle McTaggart; sister-in-laws, Helen McTaggart, Audrey McTaggart; daughter-in-law Maria Schram; as well as many nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Michael Schram, Jeffrey Schram (Cyndie), Colleen Schram, Daphne (Fred) Itterman; 17 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren and friends. Burneice was predeceased by her husband Leo A. Schram; both sons, Alfred Dale and Elgin Keith Schram; parents Elliott and Jenny McTaggart; brothers, Orville (Ann), Lorne, Lyle. Burneice's brother Ken McTaggart also passed away on Wednesday. Burneice left home at an early age to work as a domestic. During that time she met and married Leo. They had two boys Dale and Elgin. Burneice was a wonderful homemaker as a wife and mother and also a concerned and caring daughter to her parents and younger siblings. Our parents loved family gatherings. When our mother passed away, Burneice carried on the family tradition. We enjoyed wonderful meals, card games, much laughter and great fun in the home. After her children grew older, Burneice accepted a position working for the Manitoba Telephone System in Crystal City, a position she held until her retirement. She truly enjoyed her work and the friendships made. Our family was truly blessed to have had a devoted, thoughtful, compassionate, caring daughter and sister. Her spirit of love will always be in our hearts. Our gratitude and thanks to all staff at Prairie View Lodge and Rock Lake Personal Care Unit for their compassion and loving care of our dear Burneice along with her Minister Emily Lovell.
