JAMES HAROLD GRAHAM (Jim) Peacefully in his sleep, Jim passed away at home in Mesa, Arizona on February 16, 2016. He will be forever loved and sadly missed by his soul mate and wife, Beverley (Majury), son Shawn (Vivian), sisters Linda Phillips (nephews, Andy and Michael), Pat Mayer (Albert, nieces Jenni and Kayla), brothers-in-law/sisters-in-law Brian and Dianne Majury (niece Michelle), Vanessa and Roger Boivin (niece Ashley and nephews Shane, Garrett and Jordan), niece Vicky (Ian), their son Blaise, and his "puppies" Koko and Coral. He was predeceased by his cherished daughter Angela (car accident 1998), his mother and father Irene and Ed Graham, mother-in-law/father-in-law Valerie and Cecil Majury, brother Laurie and sister-in-law Joyce Graham, and last year his brother-in-law Harvey Phillips. Jim was born August 26, 1946 and lived most of his life in St. James. Growing up on Truro Street, he attended Linwood, Deer Lodge Junior High and St. James Collegiate. After graduation Jim followed his Dad into the aircraft industry, Western Engines, Standard Aero and finally Aero Recip Canada Ltd., a work place that Jim thoroughly enjoyed and returned to every summer after his retirement in 2009. Jim met Bev at high school, they began dating 1962 (at a Blue Bomber Grey Cup Party) and were married in May, 1968. Jim was Bev's rock for 47 years, loving and supporting her unconditionally, as they faced life's many challenges. Jim was also a skillful renovator, renovating all their many homes and summer retreats throughout the years. For the past seven years, he enjoyed being a "snowbird" in Arizona and spent many hours golfing, renovating his winter home, and looked forward to the many "happy hours" with good friends. There will be a Celebration of Life or as Jim always called it "His Party" on May 4, 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. at the Heritage-Victoria Community Club, 950 Sturgeon Rd. Thanks Jim for all the fun and laughter you brought into our lives. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's name could be made the Winnipeg Humane Society - honoring his love for all animals. . . . at every sunrise, and every mountain, at every rainbow, and every star, I'm loving you!

Jim and I rode tricycles together with Errol on Truro St, and together watched the Harvard trainers fly over to Stephenson Field. My first bike ride was on his brother's 2-wheeler. We played baseball and hockey together at Deer Lodge, did almost every thing growing up together with Errol, Boyd, Pat, Doug, Ken, and Scott. Family weekends at Libau were unforgettable. Went to Jim and Bev's wedding and then followed suit that same summer. Cried on the phone with him when his beloved Angela was no more. Jim, friends like you are rare in this life - thank you for being mine. Robert Way, Gatineau QC - Posted by: Robert Way (Neighbour. Classmate. Friend) on: Jan 06, 2017

I am so glad that I met you and Jim in Monte Vista. Jim so enjoyed his golfing with his Buddy Dave. We had lots of fun at our afternoon socials. Jim had a hilarious dry humour which we all loved. He will be sorely missed Carol - Posted by: Carol Brisbin (Friend) on: May 02, 2016

Our friendship was short but the interaction between you, Bev and myself, was always great fun, even when she volunteered you to assemble, instruct me on how to and or to fix something. You would followed through and save me from myself. The Ladies (Coral and Koko)have accepted me or so it seems, as their 4 pm Kitchen Staff and Walker. I thoroughly enjoyed our way to short friendship and I will miss you. My thoughts and Prayers are with you Bev and Sean. Darlene - Posted by: Darlene (Newman) on: May 01, 2016
