Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE KUHL (nee REIMER) January 28, 1920 - April 28, 2016 Peacefully, with her children by her side, Anne passed away at Bethania Personal Care Home on April 28, 2016, at age 96. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Peter Kuhl in 1990; her parents Cornelius and Aganetha (Klassen); siblings, Cornelius, Peter, Frank, George, Bill, Nettie, and Jake. Anne's memory will be cherished by her son, Perry (Esther); daughter, Dolores (George) Jandavs; grandchildren, Grant (Wendy), Warren (Jennifer), Konrad, Jennifer (Jonathan); great-grandchildren, Brittney, Ricky, and Lana; siblings, John, Katie, Marge and Mary; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Anne was born at home in the Winkler area, on January 28, 1920. She began work at the young age of 14, and soon became known for her passion for cleaning and baking. Married in 1940, Peter and Anne enjoyed 49 years together. Her joyous spirit and infectious laugh added warmth to gatherings with family and friends. She enjoyed entertaining, gardening, and playing crokinole and other games. Together with Peter, she loved serving the church in many ways, including teaching Sunday School. Her strong faith sustained her throughout her life. The family would like to thank the staff at Bethania for their compassionate care, especially during her final days. Funeral services will be held at Eastview Community Church, 3500 De Vries Avenue, on Monday, May 2, 2016, at 1:30 p.m., with viewing prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada, or to Bethania Spiritual Care.

My condolences to the family Anne was a good friend to my mother Margaret German for many years she was just always there and even as a young child I remember her always bringing fresh baking over.
