Duncan was born September 10, 1926, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Gail Graham Forlong, his wife for 66 years, preceded him in death. Surviving family are his son Robert Forlong and his wife Brenda, son Douglas Forlong and his wife Lita, and son Cameron Forlong. Surviving grandchildren are Alexis, Jaye, Dana, Tia and Michael. Duncan was great-grandfather to 11 children. His family and friends will miss him, especially when visiting the family summer home at "the lake".
