ELIZABETH GERTRUDE KUTCHYERA (nee FRYMIRE) April 2, 1925 - April 16, 2016 Betty passed away peacefully on at the age of 91. She was born in Radcliffe, Sask. As a young woman she moved to Hamilton to become a Registered Nurse and eventually worked in Smithers, BC where she met her husband. They led an exciting and full life raising four children in various Canadian cities, living and working in Zambia, Africa for six years and exploring the world. Everywhere Betty went, she quickly made friends with her cheery disposition, a song always on her lips and a willingness to dance at the drop of a hat. Predeceased by Carl Kutchyera, her husband of 61 years, and sisters Barb, Angie and Bunny, she is lovingly remembered by her four children, Joanne (Vic), Warren (Karen), Len, Carolyn (Dennis), grandchildren, Kristin, Yusef (Sarah), Colin (Nicole), Michael and great-granddaughter Laila; her brothers, Edmund (Lorraine) and Walter (Lorraine) and her sister-in-law Claudette; along with many loving nieces and nephews. Her service will be held in Calgary at Holy Name Church at 11:00 a.m. on May 12. A huge thank-you to the caring staff at Care West Sarcee Hospice in Calgary.
