Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUDREY ELIZABETH COHEN Peacefully with her family by her side, Audrey Elizabeth Cohen, aged 91 passed away on April 25, 2016. The daughter of Agnes and Fred Poole, Audrey was born in Manson, Manitoba as the third eldest of six siblings. Her marriage to her husband Mauree lasted for over 60 years. Mauree and Audrey had a wonderful relationship which brought out the best in both of them. They had four children, Gail, Linda (deceased), Tannis and Micah, as well as ten grandchildren Jennifer and Spencer, Skye and Cara, Jesse and Eli, Kale, Reed, Quin and Arah. She opted to be a stay at home mom and in later years often cared for her grandchildren. No one who met Audrey could forget her kindness and compassion or her passion for art. She had great drawing skills and excelled at china painting and ribbon embroidery. She also had her own shop on Main Street called Plum Tree Pottery which featured hand thrown and painted pottery. A trip to Japan deepened her understanding of pottery. Many of her pieces featured the beauty of nature - birds, trees, and flowers. Thank you to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital.
