NADIA KULYK It is with sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nadia Kulyk. She died peacefully, with her family by her side, on May 1, 2016, at 94 years old. Nadia was predeceased by her husband, Walter Kulyk and her son Donald Bilesky. She will be extremely missed and always remembered by daughters: Vera Tokar (Brian) and Luba Karos (Barry); sons: Robert Bilesky (Lois), Walter Kulyk Jr. (Doreen) and Jerry Kulyk (Janet), 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; also a brother and nieces in Ukraine. Nadia was born in Ukraine, in a small village just outside of Kiev. She came to Canada in 1949 and started working at Perth's within two weeks of arrival. She continued working there for almost 21 years and was later employed as a home care worker. The cottage they built at Matlock was a happy meeting place for family and friends for 40 years. Mother loved gardening, her gardens and flower beds were always the envy of the neighbourhood. All her homes always had plants at every available window and flourished with her tender care. Nadia's faith carried her throughout her life. She truly enjoyed being part of the St. Ivan Suchavsky church family. Heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff and nurses at 2A Holy Family Nursing Home. Their compassion and respect always made us comfortable leaving our beloved mother in their care. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1422 Main St. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL
