LAWRENCE DUNCAN LECOUR
Born: Jun 22, 1957
Date of Passing: Apr 29, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE (LARRY) DUNCAN LECOUR June 22, 1957 - April 29, 2016 Passed away suddenly, at work. Larry is survived by his parents, Lois and Emmett Lecour; brothers David (Anne); Daryll (Suzanne); beloved daughters Raija and Kayla (Scott); niece Amanda; nephew Daniel and Patrick and great-nephew Mateius plus several uncles, aunts and cousins. Larry was a very hard worker; a caring and loving son, brother and father and had a kindness to his very soul. He survived many tough times and was well liked by all who knew him. There was a special aura around him. He was an avid sportsman who loved all sports and had a special place in his heart for the Raptors, Blue Jays and the Sens, but most of all he loved his music. We will Miss him! In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Food Bank, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Celebration of his life will be conducted on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Orleans United Church, 1111 Orleans Blvd., at 11:00 a.m. Help us remember Larry by wearing bright colour. "He had a nature you could not help loving. And a heart that was pure as gold. And to those who knew and loved him. His memory will never grow cold."

My heart goes out to you both Raija and Kayla. I knew your dad and your mom and I were very close. Both of them adored you two from before you were even born. I haven't seen either of you since you were very young but I still remember you and your dad very well. I am so sorry to hear about your dad, he was a really nice person. My thoughts and prayers are with both of you and your grandparents. - Posted by: Susan Cable (Friend ) on: May 08, 2016
