Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKYLA OCEANIA FONTAINE YOUNG "Morning Praying Woman" It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kyla Oceania Fontaine Young on April 30, 2016, at the age of 20 years. Kyla was born on October 2, 1995 at the Women's Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Kyla was a beautiful baby and the gift of life is an ultimate blessing that brings many teachings. As our life together began Kyla was a true warrior at heart, she shared her gifts daily with everyone she met. Her love was unconditional, her laughter is memorable, and her smile unforgettable, her passion was rippling her willingness to be who she was. Kyla always lead others to be who they were. Kyla leaves to mourn her mother Elizabeth (Keenan); her father Kyle (Sherry); her siblings, Francis, Darci, Kyler, Tyrell, Kayson, Amelita and Dylin; her grandparents, Perry and Dolores and Alice; uncles and aunts, Wayne (Coralee), Christopher (Darlene), Anders (Rosie), Archie (Teresa), Vera (Norman), Danny (Melissa) and Joe (Sam); nieces and nephews, Elijah, Aubree, Daelyn, Lylia, Rayden, Casey, Charisma, Winston, Dean and Carter; her friends, "The Bats" Neena Young, Gabrielle Young, Drew Ann Young, Neepin Turner, Taylor Sinclair-Dick and Randi Dick; numerous relatives, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her grandfather Wayne and her step-father Garth. Wake service was held at her paternal grandparents Perry and Dolores Fontaine's residence, Sagkeeng First Nation, MB and is continuing at the Church of the Redeemer, Opaskwayak Cree Nation, Manitoba, Thursday, May 5 to Friday, May 6, 2016. Funeral Service will be held at Church of the Redeemer, Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at a later date.
