JUDITH ELLEN BRAID (nee BUTLAND) On April 26, 2016 at the age of 75, at Winchester Medical, Virginia, following a heart attack. Wife of the late, awesome Mike Braid. Mom was also the wonderful mother of Jennifer Braid (Jim McColgan), Chris Braid and Jeremy Braid (Jaime). An equally loving grandmother to Harrison and Olivia Braid. She is survived by her brother Richard Butland. Mom will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. Mom died doing one of the things she loved to doroad tripping for balmy weather. An avid traveler, reader and learner, she will be so sadly missed when an obscure question needs to be answered. Mom had a very strong will and you usually knew you were going to lose the argument pretty fast but every now and again, she could be wooed. We love you, Mom. Hope you and Dad are together enjoying, "once around the island". Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
