Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON ALLAN CAIRNS Gordon Cairns of Winnipeg, passed away on May 2, 2016 at Grace Hospital, from heart failure. He is survived by his wife Patricia, brother-in-law Bill Swan, four children Greg (Connie), Jeff (Kyoko), Brad (Georgina), Janet (Rick), 11 grandchildren Rylie, Jillian, Joe, Cliah, Isaac, Aoi, Sophie, Tyler, Alex, Reanne and Brett and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and sister. Gord's chosen career was as a Newspaper Pressman. Throughout his career he worked in Toronto, Detroit and Winnipeg retiring from the Winnipeg Free Press. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 11 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Charles United Church, 673 Isbister St., Winnipeg.
