ANNE (ANNIE) PENNER (nee PANKRATZ) On Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Charleswood Care Centre our beloved Mother, Anne aged 97, closed her eyes and peacefully passed away. Born February 1, 1918 in Rudnerweide, Russia, Anne will be forever remembered as a devoted Mother to her four children, Charlotte of Regina, SK, Delphine of Langley, BC, Wendell (Karen) of Maple Ridge, BC, and Lindsay (Cathy) of Winnipeg, MB; and beloved Granny/Nana to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Anne's memory to a charity of your choice. A celebration of Anne's life will take place at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. "As long as we can love each other and remember the feeling of love we had, we can die without ever really going away. All the love you created is still there. All the memories are still there. You live on in the hearts of everyone you have touched and nurtured while you were here".
