AGNES ROSMUS September 15, 1922 - May 1, 2016 It is with amazing pride to know that heaven has now become a more beautiful place when our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, auntie and friend passed through the gates of paradise. She greets her soul mate Joseph Rosmus who paved the way for her when he passed in 2003, allowing her path of transition to be peaceful, although you can be rest assured she will be telling him what he should be doing differently from here on in... Her mother, sisters and brothers and all who have left before her will welcome Agnes with open arms as they are now the lucky ones who get to relish in her beautiful smile and genuine soul. The ones she leaves behind - her three children, Roy (Bonnie), Gary (Joan) and Deborah (Larry), nieces, nephews, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren will now have to carry on her incredible legacy of family values she has instilled in each and every one of us. Agnes's greatest pride was her family. Family gatherings were her favourite. You better not be late for Christmas Eve so she could deliver her "speech" that made us all hold our breath so we wouldn't miss a word of her wisdom. There are too many memories to mention but we will all hold them in our hearts forever. Each day forward there will be something that will always remind us of her love. Agnes's generosity touched everyone in such a unique way. She volunteered at East Elmwood Community Club for many years, and for 30 years she headed up the "perogy pinchers" at the St. Gerard Parish, raising many a dollar for the church. We would like to thank Dr. Leopp, home care, and Concordia Hospital for the gentle and genuine care they constantly offered to Agnes. Agnes can rest in peace knowing she can be proud of her family. We will continue to live with the morals and integrity she instilled. Heaven didn't just gain another angel. Heaven just changed to be a better place for all with her there. The gardens will bloom with her wisdom and the stars will shine much brighter now. A celebration of Agnes's life will be held at St. Gerard Church, 45 Foster St., on Wednesday, May 11 at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
