Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPERCY HANNESSON March 19, 1923 - May 1, 2016 Percy passed away peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre, on May 1, with his family by his side. Percy is survived by Marie, his loving wife of 67 years. He is also survived by his son Lance (Carol); daughters, Pamela Bramwell and Barbara Hannesson; granddaughter Kelly (Bryce) and great-grandchildren, Cohen and Isla. Percy leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews and his brother-in-law R. A. (Sam) Fabro. Percy was born and raised in Winnipeg. He had an early and successful career with the CN Railway Engineering Department and he served four years in the RCAF during the Second World War. Percy's job took him and his family from Winnipeg to Edmonton, Thunder Bay and back to Winnipeg. Percy enjoyed the outdoors, sporting activities and time with his family, at the cottage he built at Hillside Point, Lake Winnipeg. The family would like to thank the staff on Floor 7 at the Deer Lodge Care Centre for the excellent care they have given Percy. If you wish, donations may be made to Deer Lodge Care Centre.
