ROBERT (BOB) G. BIRD Bob passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital on Wednesday, May 3, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. Left to cherish Bob's memory are his wife Joyce; daughter Heather; son-in-law Jeff and sweet dog Maggie. He is also survived by his sister Kay; sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Roseline and Rose; brothers-in-law, Robert and Keith; as well as many nieces and nephews. Bob has requested no ceremony or gathering to grieve his passing. Just remember his smile, and good sense of humour. The wonderful times boating and sailing on Lake of the Woods, the fun times at Pisces Island and the family cottage. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to please donate to the Royal Aviation Museum or the charity of their choice. With sadness, I only heard of Bob's passing this Saturday, May 27th. During the 1980's, I had worked for the company Bob was a partner of, on short-term contract assignments, as a temporary office support administrator, for which I have fond memories. My best recollection of him was a man with a great sense of morale, humour and patience. I express my condolences to his family, for their loss. God Bless. - Posted by: Rose Held (Contract Office Administrator) on: May 28, 2016
