KEVIN RICHARD DICKSON Kevin Dickson left a void in his family's, friend's and the world's heart on April 28th passing away at his residence. He lived a quiet, private and secular life throughout adulthood and remained a kind, thoughtful and generous kid throughout his forty five years on earth. He was the loving and loved second child of Lynda (Wade) Wawryk and Bud (Victoria) Dickson and the bothersome but always there, younger brother of Kelly who he remained close to forever. He also never got to say goodbye to his half-brother Mark. He had countless friends in life, the food service industry, card and gamer communities, always drawn back to Bar Italia and his good friend Rhea, the hub of the circle of friends. We could fill the page. Kevin was a unique guy, somewhat of a critic. Movies, television shows and especially restaurants, all were reviewed succinctly and sometimes scathingly but his words never made it to the written page. The occasional dish being sent back was his weapon of choice. Kevin fished, camped, played poker and all forms of cards and games. He was a voracious reader of science fiction and fantasy books and consumer of movies. We're still trying to figure out which Lord of the Rings character he wanted to be. Kevin loved animals, especially Cuddles The Cat who now has a new loving home. Kevin's ashes are going to visit and stay a while with his maternal grandparents Bill and Christine Wilson in the cemetery near Riding Mountain. Family and friends are invited to meet each other and his parents at the Norwood Legion hall at 134 Marion Street on Thursday May 12th at 7.00 p.m. Kevin would balk at flowers for him so please donate if you will, to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation.
