SHEILA AGNES ARMSTRONG August 14, 1925 - April 23, 2016 It is with profound sadness that the family announce the passing of Sheila at the age of 90 years. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Doug, Valerie (Floyd), Richard (Elaine), Joyce (John), Leslie (Debbie), Clifford (Ruth), Kimberley (Darcy), Sheila and Neil (Lesley); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild, as well as many other relatives and friends. Sheila was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, John; two grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas; son-in-law Leonard Gladish; her parents, Harry and Lizzie Jones; and her siblings, Walter, Gladys, Leslie, Norman, Ken (her twin), Eileen and Joyce. Mom spent her life dedicated to raising her family, and our friends instantly became another son or daughter to her and called her "Mom". She enjoyed nothing more than a family get together for any occasion and the door was always open to all. She also loved travelling with her husband and friends on various bus trips around Canada and into the States. Cremation has taken place. Per Mom's wishes there will be no funeral service. The family would like to thank the staff of the Tudor House Personal Care Home in Selkirk for their dedication and care of our Mom over the last six years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Mb. R3C 4G2 in her memory. "We Love and Miss You Mom"
