Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY KENNETH HARRISON January 29, 1934 - May 6, 2016 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Stan, at the age of 82 years, at the Grace Hospital, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on May 6, 2016. Stan is survived by Gertrude, his wife of 59 years; son David (Susan); daughter Nanci (Ken); granddaughter Cherise; sister Diana; brother Tom (Marje); sister-in-law Del, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Stan was predeceased by his parents, Alphonse and Annie; and his brother Edgard. Stan spent most of his working life in the airline industry, starting out with General Aviation which, after many incarnations, became Air Canada. After retiring in 1997, Stan, Gert and Del spent most Winnipeg winters travelling the globe, always coming back with tales of adventures had and new friends met. Summers were spent at the cottage entertaining friends and family. Always a tinkerer, Stan loved nothing more than starting a new project' or thinking of ways to fix something around the house. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. A private family interment will be held earlier. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association in Stan's memory. Cropo Funeral Chapel, 204-586-8044

Dear Gert. David,Susan,Nanci,Ken & Del I was so saddened to hear of Stans passing. He was such a wonderful person.. Always willing to offer a helping hand,No questions asked. His family was his whole life. It is with heavy hearts you say goodbye,however,the memories he has left you all will last a lifetime.
