Peacefully with his family by his side, on Saturday, May 7, 2016 Donald Francis Fabbro passed away at Middlechurch Personal Care Home at the age of 87. Don, as he was known to by many, was born in Winnipeg on July 25, 1928 to Oliver and Anne Fabbro.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife Marie with their children Jeannette (Michael), Christopher (Jennifer), Sean and Lisa (Marc) and grandchildren Michael, Hannah and Alexis.
Also mourning his loss are his children Carol, Rodney (Harlene) and Donny (Lorraine); grandchildren Melanie, Chris, Sandra, Jason and Meghan and numerous great-grandkids.
He has one remaining sister, Gloria, but was predeceased by his mother, father, four brothers and two sisters.
He was a successful proprietor of Alpine Express where he worked for over 30 years. In his role of Vice-president of sales, he was familiar with the many people and places of Winnipeg and wherever he went he would stop and talk to anyone.
Funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4588 Roblin Blvd. on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 1:30 p.m.
