I knew John from very early in the neighbourhood. My late brother John and I were friends with the Buley brothers who were part of John MacDonald's circle. John was an early master of all things mechnical and went on to graduate as a technical education teacher. Later when I was studying education I worked for John in his machine shop on and off to earn tuition. John and I shared many interests in common and we're friends until his passing. I thank him for being another older brother and wish Tannis, Joanne and Barbara peace in the years to come. - Posted by: Brian paterson (Friend) on: May 16, 2016
