Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLANA JANE OMOTO It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lana Jane Omoto on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Lana will be remembered by her husband of 47 years, Howard; children Dean and Kimi (Rob). She also leaves behind her father Elmer; brothers Bill (Dorie), Gary (Colleen); sister-in-law Jane; grandchildren Jordan, Jesse, Megan; many nieces; nephews; cousins; dear friends and neighbors. Lana was predeceased by her mother, Mrytle. Raised in Ridgeville, MB, Lana later came to work in Winnipeg where she met Howard. They had their two children and Lana stayed at home until they were out of school. After, she returned to school herself and worked at the Grace General Hospital for 20 years as a ward clerk. Howard and Lana enjoyed many vacations to Las Vegas and after retirement they enjoyed short bus casino trips. A private service will be held at a later date. I've known Howard for over 35 years- during that time we got to know Lana Bev & I socialized over the past years with Lana & Howard. Great times. Lana was a gentle ,kind person who deeply loved her husband Howard and her family. Bev & I convey our sincere sympathy to Howard & his family. We miss Lana. Bev Art.
