DOROTHY LOLITA HALL 1931-2016 Dorothy Lolita Hall beloved wife of Frederick Hall for 44 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 holding her husband's hand and surrounded by loved ones. Born August 18, 1931 to Clarence and Mary Rowe of Grannum's Land, St. Michael, Barbados. Dorothy attended St. Stephen's Primary and Junior Schools and resided in Free Hill, Black Rock, St. Michael. She was a former worker at the Paradise Beach Club. She migrated to Canada in 1970 and became employed with the Misericordia General Hospital until retirement. She was loved by her coworkers and patients and made many lifelong friends. Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband Frederick Hall and sister Velda St. Clair of Trinidad. Dorothy was predeceased by her siblings Horace, Winston, Oswald, Gloria and Cuara. She is survived by nieces Wendy Johnson of New York, Kim of London, England, Ann Marie of Trinidad and many more nieces and nephews. She was aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt of many who reside in the United Kingdom, New York, Trinidad, Canada and Barbados. Family of Enid Holder, Thelma Cumberbatch formerly of Barbados, Jenny, Glynne and Deirdre. Dear friend of Hughlene, Roy, Sybil, Magna, Debbie, Malvia, Oneal and Honour. The families would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Grace Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital and The Deer Lodge Facility for their great care, compassion, respect and professionalism extended to Dorothy. A memorial service will take place on Sunday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery). Viewing will be 1 hour prior to service.
