JOHN GERALD DUECK John Gerald Dueck, born February 21, 1950, of Winnipeg passed away on May 13, 2016. He is survived by his daughter Shannon and her partner Greg Yaskiw, eight siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents David and Katherine Dueck, sister Janice Holland and sister-in-law Luella Dueck. John was born in Steinbach, MB and spent his growing up years in Kleefeld, MB. John worked approximately 25 years at CP Rail with his father. He was a loving and dedicated father. His immediate family, aunts and uncles were very special to him. He seldom missed any family gatherings, enjoying their company and food. Some of John's favourite pastimes were driving his car and playing cards with his friends. He enjoyed watching cop shows on TV. His love of animals, both cats and dogs, resulted in many of them living with him. John died peacefully while sitting on his couch watching TV. So it is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to a loving father and brother. A memorial service will take place Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Kleefeld EMC Church, 25121 Road 35 N., Kleefeld, MB. If friends so desire donations in memory of John may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
