MARION KEYS (nee WALKER) April 8, 1920 - May 13, 2016 Peacefully in her sleep, it is with great sadness that the family of Marion Keys (nee Walker) wishes to announce her passing this past Friday. A loving sister, wife, mother and grandmother, Marion is survived by her sister Dorothy (Norman) Wold and family; her three children, Elaine Woodbridge of Winnipeg, Nancy Keys of McKinney, TX and Bill Keys (Deborah) of Dallas, TX; and grandchildren Matthew, Adam (Oliver), Andrew, Keir, Micaela, Laurel and Billy. Born in the town of Transcona, Manitoba and an employee of Eaton's for many years, Marion was an active member of the Parish of St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in Windsor Park, where she and her husband William, to whom she was married for 56 years, lived and raised their family. Marion spent her final years under the care of those at Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 21 at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, 881 Autumnwood Dr. Interment at St. John's Cathedral Cemetery.

  • How could anyone forget that smile. I remember going to the Keys' home and how your mom always had that wonderful demeanour about her. Although it's been years since I have seen any of her children, I want to offer my prayers . Sometimes moms, after they've crossed , peek back into Your life in tiny reminders , songs or when you least expect it.
