Dear Arlene, Darlene and Marlene and families: Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. I fondly remember what a wonderful Magnus Avenue neighbor Ivy was. She always made time to chat and connect with my family and with neighbors that were passing by the house. It warms by heart as I remember what a fuss she always made over my niece, Marlene. ...Blessings, Be strong for one another, and always keep Ivy in your hearts. - Posted by: Marilyn Corbitt (Long time neighbor and family friend) on: May 24, 2016

Many, many humorous times were spent with Ivy. Her descriptive stories of her youth, "the kitchen room", her children, and going to "yeste" were hilarious. At any gathering Ivy would be the jokester. Reminiscing on true life incidents with sister Lily, Ivy and Misha Pollock would have made hilariously good material for any comedy act. Our family was truly blessed to have such a fine person that we could embrace and call our Dear Aunt Ivy--or as John lovingly called her "cho cha Ivy." Our Sincerest Sympathies to the whole family! Lovingly and Fondly Remembered! Naomi, Jackie, Kristofer, John and Gayle - Posted by: john poturnak (nephew) on: May 18, 2016
