KENNETH GORDON PASALUKO With heavy hearts, the family of Kenneth Gordon Pasaluko announces his unexpected passing at 77 years of age. Ken was born in Pine Falls, Manitoba. Predeceased by wife Adele, and Kevin. Survived by twin sisters, Merle and Marilyn (Terry); nieces Charlene and Leah (Michel) and nephew Dan. Ken had a passion for Ukrainian kielbasa sausage, Harley Davidsons and classic cars. In fact, he drove his 1929 Dodge, 1963 Pontiac Parisienne and his vintage Harley across Canada twice. Ken was a welder by profession and had a knack for inventing gadgets. Last year he proudly received his gold watch for 60 years as a member of The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. A Celebration of Life will be held in Winnipeg in September. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Ken's memory to the Lung Association would be appreciated.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Many years ago I rented a room from Ken and Del while going to RRCC. Ken and I shared a love for motorcycles and he was always so generous sharing his knowledge of things mechanical. I hadn't seem him for many years but I have many fond memories of the time we shared. My deepest condolences to Kens family. - Posted by: Rod Giese (friend) on: Jun 11, 2016

  • Ken once pulled up to the jobsite in a Mercedes that blew so much smoke it was like he not only drove the car, he was fogging for mosquitoes. He was a top notch welder, genuine good guy, wise in the ways of the work and a great advisor to us (then) younger welders. He was the type of guy that when he was on your crew, the work seemed to go smoothly, professionally. Every one of us Boilermakers will miss him. We'll even miss that Mercedes. - Posted by: Rick Ranson (Boilermaker) on: May 22, 2016
