Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELLIE LAING (nee WHITNEY) On May 18, 2016 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Nellie passed away at the age of 93 years. Nellie is survived by two daughters, Pat (Roy), of Edmonton, AB and Carol (Brian), of Winnipeg, MB; two sons, George (Fran), of Arizona and Joe (Janet), of Winnipeg, MB; 11 grandchildren, many loving great-grandchildren; one sister Clara (George) and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 2013, as well as her grandson Justin and many sisters and brothers. Nellie worked for Moore Business Forms for many years. Nellie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and feeding all the stray cats. She also enjoyed outings to various casinos. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nellie's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to any charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

So sorry to hear of Nellies passing she was a wonderful lady and Robyn and I loved the time we had knowing her and Gordon .We have many fond memories from them and loved hearing there childhood stories!
