Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE HELENA REECKMANN With great sadness and heavy hearts, we share with you the sudden passing of Marie Reeckmann (Daman) on May 12, 2016 at Golden Door Care Centre. Marie was born in Winnipeg, February 6, 1924 and was employed at Moore Business Forms until her retirement. Predeceased by loving husband Eskild; mother; sister Diane (Joe); brothers, George (Doreen), Tony; and nephews, Doug and Pat. Survived by sister Helen (Bob), and many nieces and nephews from different parts of the country. Special thanks to nephews, Tony (Darlene) and Bill, cousin Bob (Jan) and Carolyn, of Winnipeg for their help and devotion to Marie. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Golden Door Care Centre. Marie was a kind, generous and devoted person to all the family and will be missed by all. Love you Reedie. Rest in Peace.

I have so many childhood memories with Reedie. Picking delicious peas and raspberries from her garden. Exploring her mysterious basement. Getting a birthday card and note every year for all of my childhood. But what I remember the most is how she treated me, with so much love and devotion. She was such an energetic, sociable, classy woman who I will always admire. I am happy she will be with Eskel again, sad for those she left behind.
