Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCALVIN PARENTEAU June 19, 1962 - May 18, 2016 With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Calvin. Calvin was predeceased by his grandmother Agnes; mother Doreen and stepdad Ed. Calvin was raised by his grandma Agnes and grew up in Camperville, MB. They later moved to Winnipeg and in the 1980s Calvin joined the RCMP. He then relocated out of province. Once coming back home, he switched careers to a Winnipeg Transit driver. He finally decided on long distance truck driving. He recently bought his own truck and enjoyed travelling through the states and visiting new places. Calvin was a loving, strong, yet gentle man. He always helped us by making light of hard situations, usually laughing beside you at his own jokes. Left to cherish Calvin's memory, his partner Sandra of 16 years; brother Harold (Laura); sister Lori (Pete); niece Nova; uncles, Chucky, Peter and Billy; aunts, Lucy and Vivian, who was like a sister to him; numerous cousins, extended family and Roxy, who will all miss him deeply. "We always had good times from beginning to the end. You're the most beautiful person to have known as a brother. You appreciated who was close to you, and understood the depths of one's feelings. A sensitivity and an understanding of others was always found in you. You would fill one with deep importance as one spoke to you. I know I will meet you again. You will always be remembered and missed"HP Fly Free Brother Prayers will be on Friday, May 27 at 5:00 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28 at 4:00 p.m. at Roman Catholic Church (both in Ashern, MB)
