I just spotted this now... sadly.. and wanted to say what a great man I thought he was. I was just a teenager when I met him but he made such an impression on me... he was so handsome and tall and a gentle giant. Always very kind to me and I just really liked him. I am sorry to the family for your loss... I hope he had a great life~ - Posted by: Lauren Bjorklund ( Tetzloff) (ex girlfriend of Gerald his son) on: Oct 17, 2017

Although we lived far apart and hadn't touched base for many years...I remember John well as a young man. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your Dad, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. Keep your wonderful memories from over the years.
