• Cheri your encouragement and kind words have helped me many a time over the years. The only thing that makes me not as sad about this is knowing a true Angel as caring and as beautiful as you will be watching over us from above. • I remember Cheri as a bright young girl of twelve who had a very close relationship to her older sister. I remember her as a student peer helper who, along with me and several others, helped many of our peer students with day to day life problems and some students who without her deep compassion would have been much more confused and lost in their grade 6 to grade 8 years. I remember Cheri being very committed to doing well in school and more often than not achieved very high grades. I remember a friend who was always there when you needed her and fun was part of the agenda! Her sister Charlene, Cheri and I often frequented a dance specialized for under 18 yr olds called flip side. I remember sharing a lot of interest in music and just good, clean fun! Cheri was beautiful. I often spent a lot of time with Cheri after school in her home. We made fun of how low Rick Astley's voice was considering his small stature! It was a long running joke! I remember Cheri as a young girl who loved her family and had dreams for her future. I am very sad to have heard of her passing, I have thought of her a lot over the years ...
