RAYMOND GEORGE HATTON September 22, 1926 - May 23, 2016 It is with heavy hearts that we announce Ray's passing, comfortably and peacefully at Ian Anderson House. Survived by Jean (nee Skinner), his wife of over 60 years, their children Bill and his wife Ghislaine, Catherine, Rob and his wife Denise Coombs, and Janet and her husband Scott Kenny, and four grandchildren. Ray was born in North Winnipeg, where he met and courted Jean. For the last 50 years they have lived happily in Clarkson, Ontario. Ray was a mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Manitoba, and an avid curler. He spent his career in the natural gas industry, but after retiring returned to his first passion, antique cars, organizing many tours with antique car clubs around central Ontario, which he knew and loved so well. A funeral service was held at Skinner and Middlebrook Funeral Home on Friday, May 27 at 1:00 p.m. Donations to the Ian Anderson House where Ray spent his last days gratefully appreciated.
